Photography award. Image ‘Trio’ placed third. The DPG Masters Underwater Imaging Competition has become the “World Championship” of international underwater imagery events.
Siena Awards.
Photography award. Image ‘Resilience’ placed as Honorable Mention in the prestigious Siena Awards. The judges sifted through ~50,000 images to find their winners so to make the top 10 in this category really is a huge achievement.
Shark Week 2023.
TV appearance as co-presenter. Hammerhead sharks can reach monster sizes by hunting other sharks -- but the only way to prove it is to get tissue samples from some of the largest sharks on the planet.

TV appearance as co-presenter. Reports of two legendary, very large great hammerheads, Big Moe in the Florida Keys and Sunken in Andros, Bahamas, have a research team wondering if there is a group of hammerheads who share the same DNA.

Children’s Book.
Author and creative. Annie wrote and designed a fun and colorful Bahamian wildlife-themed educational children’s book relevant and relatable to young Bahamians. The book includes find and seek marine games, local species identification, introductions to food webs, fun facts, conservation snippets, and more. All pages of the book are island themed, e.g. the vast sandflats of Andros, the beautiful and important mangroves of Bimini and more. Over 5,000 copies of the book have been printed and are being gifted to young Bahamian school children throughout The Bahamas.

Hurricane Dorian Fundraiser.
Fundraising leader. Silent Hunter founders Tristan and Annie joined forces with Forrest and Chelsea for an unusual but very important project. As they had all spent a great deal of time in The Bahamas over the years, they were heartbroken for those left with little to nothing, but they knew together, they could have a unique and important impact.
